You have had certain nerve currents measured after a movement has been triggered using a special device. The device uses magnetism to cause a movement of your arm or leg that you cannot influence. This movement involves certain muscles twitching violently, which can be unpleasant. The measurements enable an assessment of how well information for movements is being passed on.
