Studies of cardiac electrophysiological activity: Magnetocardiography
Your heart has been tested using an MCG device.
The electrical currents flow through the heart. The heart's electrical activity causes the heart muscle to contract. It begins at a site in your right atrium. Initially the electrical activity spreads to both atria. The electrical activity then flows on via a sort of cable to the ventricles.
This test involves a special device measuring the heart’s magnetic field. The heart’s magnetic field results from the heart’s electrical activity.
An MCG device can be used to measure how the heart’s electrical activity is spreading in the heart.
Additional indicator
