Examination of urinary tract: Urethral calibration

The width of your urethra has been measured.

When you have to pass water, the urine flows from the bladder via the urethra and out. The diameter of the urethra can be measured by inserting tubes of different sizes into the urethra.

Additional indicator

If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.

  • L: Left
  • R: Right
  • B: Both sides
