A tissue sample has been taken from your inferior hypogastric plexus (pelvic plexus).
The inferior hypogastric plexus is located between the lower area of the spine and the pelvis. Among other things, it is important for muscle movement and for sensation in the lower abdominal wall, genitals, buttocks and legs.
The tissue sample can be taken using a needle, for example.
