Biopsy without incision on urinary organs and male genital organs: Imaging-guided percutaneous biopsy of urinary organs and male genital organs: Vas deferens
Tissue samples have been taken from your vas deferens.
The spermatic duct transports the sperm from the testicles to the urethra. The sperm emerge via the urethra. There is one spermatic duct on each side.
The tissue samples were taken using a needle. This needle was inserted through your skin into the relevant tissue. At the same time, images were taken of the inside of your body. That way it is possible to see exactly where the needle is.
Additional indicator
If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.
- L: Left
- R: Right
