Biopsy without incision on urinary organs and male genital organs: Imaging-guided percutaneous biopsy of urinary organs and male genital organs: Unspecified
Tissue samples have been taken from your urinary organs or sexual organs.
The urinary organs include organs that form urine or excrete it from the body. Urine flows from both kidneys into the bladder via the ureters. The urethra channels the urine outward from the bladder.
The tissue samples were taken using a needle. This needle was inserted through your skin into the relevant tissue. At the same time, images were taken of the inside of your body. That way it is possible to see exactly where the needle is.
Additional indicator
If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.
- L: Left
- R: Right
- B: Both sides
