Tissue samples have been taken from your chest.

The tissue samples were taken using a hollow needle. This needle was inserted through your skin into your chest. Cylinder-shaped tissue samples were then punched out using the hollow needle. In order to be able to find this precise spot later on, a small metal peg was then attached there in your chest.
