1-494.32:
Biopsy without incision on other organs and tissue: Imaging-guided (percutaneous) biopsy of other organs and tissue: Breast: Punch biopsy with clip to mark biopsy site
Tissue samples have been taken from your chest.
The tissue samples were taken using a hollow needle. This needle was inserted through your skin into your chest. At the same time, pictures were taken of the inside of your body. That way it is possible to see exactly where the needle is. Cylinder-shaped tissue samples were then punched out using the hollow needle. In order to be able to find this precise spot later on, a small metal peg was then attached there in your chest.
Additional indicator
If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.
- L: Left
- R: Right
- B: Both sides
