Your oesophagus, your stomach and the first part of your small intestine have been examined.

The first part of the small intestine is also called the duodenum. This part is directly connected to the stomach and the lower part of the small intestine. The small intestine is lined with mucous membrane. Your have a stoma in your stomach or intestine.

For the examination, a tube was inserted through this stoma. A camera is attached to the end of the tube. This camera then sends images to a screen during the examination. It can then be seen whether the tissue is healthy or changed.
