Diagnostic endoscopy of urinary passages: Diagnostic ureterorenoscopy
Your ureter and kidney were examined using a thin tube.
The urinary passages include the ureters, bladder and urethra. Urine flows from both kidneys into the bladder via the ureters. The urethra channels the urine outward from the bladder.
The tube was pushed through your urethra. A camera is attached to the end of the tube. This camera then sends images to a screen during the examination. It can then be seen whether the tissue is healthy or changed.
