A thin tube has been used to examine your urinary passages.

The urinary passages include the ureters, bladder and urethra. Urine flows from both kidneys into the bladder via the ureters. The urethra channels the urine outward from the bladder. You have a urostomy. This urostomy is probably made up of parts of your intestine.

The tube was pushed through your urostomy. A camera is attached to the end of the tube. This camera then sends images to a screen during the examination. It can then be seen whether the tissue is healthy or changed.
