Projection radiography with specialized procedure: Mammography: One or more levels
Your breasts were X-rayed.
The breast is made up of fatty tissue, connective tissue and the mammary gland. Milk is produced in the mammary gland during and after pregnancy so that the child can be fed.
The X-ray produces images of the insides of the breasts. The procedure involved sending X-ray beams through the breasts from an X-ray tube. The X-ray image is generated based on the fact that the X-ray beams pass through the various breast tissues more or less easily.
