3-302:
Optical laser scanning techniques: 3D surface measurement using laser scanning
The surface of your body was measured using laser light.
The laser light is directed to the areas of your body that are to be measured. The surface of the body throws this light back again. The reflected light is measured. A computer generates a 3D image from the values measured.
Additional indicator
If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.
- L: Left
- R: Right
- B: Both sides
