Blood vessels in your eyes have been examined.

Blood vessels supply the eyes with oxygen and nutrients.

The examination involves imaging the blood vessels in the eyes using a special camera. A dye is also usually injected into a blood vessel in the arm. The dye spreads through the entire body via the blood vessels, also reaching the blood vessels in the eyes. The test should then show whether the dye is being distributed normally in the blood vessels in the eyes.

If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.

  • L: Left
  • R: Right
  • B: Both sides
