An operation was done to remove a hematoma from your brain.
When blood accumulates in tissue, it is known as a hematoma. A hematoma can displace tissue or press on it.
In the skull, the brain is surrounded by the meninges. To remove the hematoma from your brain, we cut through your cranial bone and your meninges.
