Excision and resection in lung and bronchus: Extended lobectomy and bilobectomy of lung: Lobectomy without bronchoplasty or angioplasty extension: With atrial resection
You have had an operation to remove one of your pulmonary lobes.
There is a lung on either side. Each lung is made up of individual pulmonary lobes. The right lung has three pulmonary lobes, the left lung has two pulmonary lobes.
Tissue was also removed from the atrium of your heart.
The heart pumps blood through the body. Inside the heart are 4 chambers. There are 2 heart atria and 2 ventricles. Both heart atria and both ventricles are separated from each other by a partition.
