You have had treatment for an enlargement in one of your coronary arteries.

The heart is supplied with oxygen-rich blood via the coronary arteries. The coronary arteries are blood vessels that run around the outside of the heart.

The diameter of one of your coronary arteries was wider than normal in one location. This enlargement, or bulge, has been surgically treated.

Additional indicator

If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.

  • L: Left
  • R: Right
  • B: Both sides
