Incision, excision and closure of blood vessels: Elimination, excision and stripping of varicose veins: Endoluminal rotation ablation with simultaneous sclerotization
You have been treated because you have varicose veins.
Varicose veins are enlarged veins. Veins are blood vessels that transport the blood back to the heart. In the leg there are superficial veins immediately below the skin and deep veins between the muscles. The superficial veins are connected to the deep veins by short veins. The blood flows to the heart via the deep veins. If the blood backs up in the veins, the veins can become enlarged.
You have had varicose veins in your leg scarified and treated with a drug. The purpose of the drug is to cure the varicose veins. To treat the varicose veins, a thin tube was inserted into a vein via a small incision in your skin.
