Other operations on blood vessels and additional information about operations on blood vessels: Additional information on blood vessel operations: Assembly of a vein bypass graft of at least two sections

Some of your veins have been connected to one another for a bypass operation.

A bypass operation involves bridging using replacement blood vessels to bridge bottlenecks in blood vessels. One such replacement blood vessel may be a vein. Veins are blood vessels that transport the blood back to the heart. If a single vein is insufficient for the bridging, more than one vein can be connected to one another.
