Operations on spleen and bone marrow: Other surgery on the bone marrow
You have had an operation on your bone marrow.
The bone marrow is inside the bone. The blood cells are formed in the bone marrow, for instance. The bone marrow also contains fat. Bone marrow is particularly found in flat, large bones such as in the pelvis, sternum and ribs.
