5-537.3:

Closure of abdominal hernias: Closure of congenital abdominal wall defects (omphalocele, laparoschisis): With allogeneic or xenogenous material

You have had an operation because your abdominal wall was not properly developed. The operation closed your abdominal wall.

Your abdominal wall did not develop properly before you were born. So organs had moved outwards from your abdominal cavity.

During the operation the organs were replaced in your abdominal cavity. Then your abdominal wall was closed. It may be that your abdominal wall cannot be closed immediately because too little tissue is available. So, to close the abdominal wall without any tightness, third-party tissue is sometimes used.
