Operations on the ureter: Transurethral and percutaneous transrenal enlargement of the ureter: Bougie insertion, percutaneous transrenal

Your ureter has been enlarged.

The ureter is a thin, muscular tube in the abdomen. There is usually one ureter on each side. The urine flows from the kidney, via the ureter, to the bladder.

Your ureter was accessed via your kidney after an incision was made in your skin. A rod was then inserted into your ureter. Your ureter was enlarged using the rod.
