Operations on the ureter: Transurethral and percutaneous transrenal enlargement of the ureter: Insertion of a stent, percutaneous transrenal: Insertion of a permanent stent of other sort
Your ureter has been supported by a small tube.
The ureter is a thin, muscular tube in the abdomen. There is usually one ureter on each side. The urine flows from the kidney, via the ureter, to the bladder.
Your ureter was accessed via your kidney after an incision was made in your skin. A small tube was then inserted into your ureter in order to keep the ureter open.
