Operations on other bones: Incision in bone, septic and aseptic: Removal of a foreign body: Talus
You have had an operation on your talus.
The foot is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The lower leg is connected to the tarsus. Then comes the metatarsus and then the individual toes. The anklebone is part of the tarsus. The foot connects to the lower leg via the talus. This connection is known as the upper ankle joint.
This intervention involved making one or more incisions in your skin.
A foreign object was then removed from your talus.
