Operations on other bones: Incision in bone, septic and aseptic: Removal of a foreign body: Metatarsals

You have had an operation on one or more of your metatarsal bones.

The foot is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The lower leg is connected to the tarsus. Then comes the metatarsus and then the individual toes. The metatarsus consists of 5 elongated metatarsal bones.

This intervention involved making one or more incisions in your skin.

A foreign object was then removed from your metatarsal bones.
