OPS-Code 5-782.7u:

Operations on other bones: Excision and resection of diseased bone tissue: Total resection of a bone with soft tissue resection: Tarsals

In order to remove altered bone tissue, one or more of your tarsal bones were removed.

The foot is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The lower leg is connected to the tarsus. Then comes the metatarsus and then the individual toes. The tarsus consists of 7 tarsal bones. The tarsal bones form the rear part of the foot.

There are various soft tissues around the tarsal bones. Soft tissue includes muscles, fatty tissue and connective tissue, for example. In addition to the altered bone tissue, you also had soft tissue from the area surrounding the tarsal bones removed.
