The collarbone is a bone at the front of the ribcage. It runs from the ribcage to the shoulder and joins the shoulder blade at the shoulder.

There are various soft tissues around the collarbone. Soft tissue includes muscles, fatty tissue and connective tissue, for example. Your collarbone and soft tissue from the area surrounding the collarbone were removed.
