You have had bone material with cartilage surgically removed from your ulna so that it can be used somewhere else.

There are 2 bones in the forearm, the ulna and the radius. The ulna is on the side where your little finger is. The radius is on the side where your thumb is. Both bones in the forearm have an upper, middle and lower section. The lower ends of the ulna and the radius are connected to the hand by the wrist. The bones in a joint are covered with cartilage. When the joint is moved, the cartilage prevents the bones from rubbing against one another. The cartilage is normally strong and elastic, with a smooth surface.

Bone material with cartilage has been removed from the lower end of your ulna.
