OPS-Code 5-783.7u:
Operations on other bones: Extraction of a bone graft: Bone graft, vascular pedicled, non microvascular anastomized: Tarsals
You have had bone material surgically removed from your tarsal bones so that it can be used somewhere else.
The foot is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The lower leg is connected to the tarsus. Then comes the metatarsus and then the individual toes. The tarsus consists of 7 tarsal bones. The tarsal bones form the rear part of the foot.
Blood vessels supply the tarsal bones with oxygen and nutrients, among other things. When removing the bone material, it remains connected with the original site by means of a blood vessel. The blood vessel was not severed. As a result, the bone material can continue to be supplied with blood. This should help the bone material to fuse with other bone material at the new site.
Additional indicator
