Ihnen wurde in einer Operation Knochen-Material an der Kniescheibe eingesetzt.
Die Kniescheibe liegt vorne am Knie. Sie schützt das Kniegelenk. Außerdem ist sie wichtig für Bewegungen des Knies. Wenn man das Knie beugt und streckt, dann gleitet die Kniescheibe vor dem Oberschenkel-Knochen entlang. Die Kniescheibe ist über festes Gewebe mit dem Muskel vorn am Oberschenkel sowie mit dem Schienbein verbunden.
Für die Operation wurde der betroffene Bereich mit einem Schnitt durch die Haut geöffnet. Das Knochen-Material für Ihre Kniescheibe hat man zuvor an einer anderen Stelle Ihres Körpers entnommen.
