Ihnen wurde in einer Operation Knochen-Material an den Mittelfuß-Knochen eingesetzt.

Der Fuß besteht aus vielen kleinen Knochen und Gelenken. Der Unterschenkel ist mit der Fußwurzel verbunden. Danach folgen der Mittelfuß und anschließend die einzelnen Zehen. Der Mittelfuß besteht aus 5 länglichen Mittelfuß-Knochen.

Das Knochen-Material wurde im Labor mit einem speziellen Verfahren bearbeitet, bevor es an den Mittelfuß-Knochen eingesetzt wurde.
