Aids have been removed from your tarsal bones.
The foot is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The lower leg is connected to the tarsus. Then comes the metatarsus and then the individual toes.
The heel bone is part of the tarsus. It is located at the back of the foot. You can feel your calcaneus in your heel.
To stabilize bones or parts of bones, various aids can be used. They can be made of metal or plastic, for example.
One or more wires or plastic bands have been removed from your heel bone.
