You have had an operation on your toes in order to restore the function of your toe joints.

The foot is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The lower leg is connected to the tarsus. Then comes the metatarsus and then the individual toes. The big toe consists of 2 toe bones. The other toes consist of 3 toe bones. The toe joints are located between the toe bones. They enable you to move your toes.
