Operations on other bones: Inspection of osteosynthesis material with reosteosynthesis: By fixed angle plate/condylar plate: Shaft of humerus
The long, straight section of your humerus has been re-stabilized using aids.
There are different parts to the humerus. The top end is connected to the shoulder blade in the shoulder joint. In the middle of the humerus there is a long, straight section. The lower end is connected to the forearm in the elbow joint.
The long, straight section of your humerus has been stabilized using one or more plates.
The plate is angled or curved. This enables the plate to be adjusted to properly fit the shape of the humerus.
