One or more of your bones have been surgically re-stabilized using aids.
To stabilize bones or parts of bones, various aids can be used. They can be made of metal or plastic, for example.
The bones concerned were joined together and stabilized using a special screw.
The special screw joins the various parts of the bone together. This ensures that the bone fragments are pressed together in a particular way.
Additional indicator
If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.
- L: Left
- R: Right
- B: Both sides
