Operations on other bones: Inspection of osteosynthesis material with reosteosynthesis: By dynamic fixator: Scapula

Your shoulder blade has been re-stabilized using aids.

The shoulder blade is a flat bone that lies to the back of your upper chest. There is a right and left shoulder blade. As part of the shoulder joint, the shoulder blade connects the upper body to the arm. The shoulder blade is involved in many movements in the shoulder area.

Your shoulder blade has been stabilized using a special holding system.

The special fixation system involves inserting metal pins or screws through the skin from outside and into the bone. These are then joined to one another outside the body using a holding system.

Additional indicator

If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.

  • L: Left
  • R: Right
  • B: Both sides
