Your collarbone has been surgically aligned and aids were used to stabilize it.
The collarbone is a bone at the front of the ribcage. It runs from the ribcage to the shoulder and joins the shoulder blade at the shoulder. The collarbone may be stabilized if it is broken, for example.
The fragments of your collarbone were put back in their normal place, and a special fixation system was used to join and stabilize them. The special fixation system involves inserting metal pins or screws through the skin from outside and into the collarbone. These are then joined to one another outside the body using a holding system. The holding system is designed to be mobile. This enables the arm to be moved.
