You have broken your femur (thighbone) and had an operation on it.
The femur has an upper, middle and lower section. The central section of the femur is long and straight. You broke the long, straight section of your femur.
You had an operation that put the broken pieces of your femur back into their usual position. The fragments were then joined together and the site of the break was stabilized using wires or plastic bands.
