One or more of your bones were surgically straightened.

The growth plate of one or more bones became detached. In children and adolescents the bone’s growth stems from the growth plates. There are growth plates in the long bones in the arms and legs, and the long bones in the hands and feet. There is a growth plate at each end of these bones.

The parts of the affected bone(s) were surgically returned to their normal position and put back together.
