One or more of your bones were straightened in an operation and stabilized using devices.

The parts of the affected bone(s) were surgically returned to their normal position and put back together. The parts of the bone were then stabilized inside the bone using a long pin.

The purpose of the long pin is to stabilize the bone from the inside. To do this, the pin is inserted into the bone.
