Repositioning of fracture and luxation: Open repositioning of a simple fracture in small bones: By angular stable plate: Phalanges of the hand
One or more of the phalanges of your hand were broken and were surgically stabilized using devices.
The hand is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The hand can be divided into 3 sections. The wrist (carpus) is directly connected to the forearm. Then comes the metacarpus and then the individual fingers. The thumb consists of 2 finger bones. The other fingers consist of 3 finger bones.
You had an operation to first return the fragments of the affected bones to their normal position and put them back together. The phalanges of your hand were then stabilized using one or more plates.
