Repositioning of fracture and luxation: Open repositioning of a simple fracture in small bones: By angular stable plate: Phalanges of the foot
One or more of the phalanges of your foot were broken and were surgically stabilized using devices.
The foot is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The lower leg is connected to the tarsus. Then comes the metatarsus and then the individual toes. The big toe consists of 2 toe bones. The other toes consist of 3 toe bones.
You had an operation to first return the fragments of the affected bones to their normal position and put them back together. The phalanges of your foot were then stabilized using one or more plates.
