Repositioning of fracture and luxation: Open repositioning of a multiple fragment fracture in small bones: By angular stable plate: Tarsals

You have had an operation on one or more breaks in your tarsal bones.

The foot is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The lower leg is connected to the tarsus. Then comes the metatarsus and then the individual toes. The tarsus consists of 7 tarsal bones. The tarsal bones form the rear part of the foot.

Your tarsal bones were broken in such a way that the break consisted of more than one piece. You had an operation to bring the broken parts of your tarsal bones back together and put them into their normal position. The break was stabilized using a plate.
