Das Handgelenk besteht aus mehreren kleinen Gelenken. Am Handgelenk treffen die Unterarm-Knochen Elle und Speiche auf mehrere Knochen der Hand. Elle und Speiche sind jeweils über ein eigenes Gelenk mit der Hand verbunden. Darüber hinaus gibt es ein weiteres Gelenk zwischen den Enden von Elle und Speiche.
