Repositioning of fracture and luxation: Closed repositioning of a joint luxation with osteosynthesis: By wire or tension band wiring/cerclage: Interphalangeal joint
One or more joints between the phalanges of your hand have been realigned and stabilized using devices.
The hand is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The hand can be divided into 3 sections. The wrist (carpus) is directly connected to the forearm. Then comes the metacarpus and then the individual fingers. The thumb consists of 2 finger bones. The other fingers consist of 3 finger bones. The individual phalanges of the hand are connected to each other via a joint.
The bones of the affected joints between the phalanges of your hand were first returned to their correct position. The joint between the phalanges of your hand was then stabilized using wires or plastic tape.
