OPS-Code 5-79a.1n:

Repositioning of fracture and luxation: Closed repositioning of a joint luxation with osteosynthesis: By wire or tension band wiring/cerclage: Tarsal joint

One or more joints between your tarsal bones were realigned and stabilized using aids.

The foot is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. The lower leg is connected to the tarsus. Then comes the metatarsus and then the individual toes. The tarsus consists of 7 tarsal bones. The tarsal bones form the rear part of the foot.

The bones of the affected joints between your tarsal bones were first returned to their correct position. The joints between your tarsal bones were then stabilized using wires or plastic tape.
