Eines oder mehrere Ihrer Gelenke wurden eingerenkt und mit Hilfsmitteln stabilisiert.
Zunächst wurden die Knochen der betroffenen Gelenke wieder in die richtige Position gebracht. Danach wurden die Gelenke jeweils mit einem speziellen Haltesystem stabilisiert.
Für das spezielle Haltesystem werden Metallstäbe oder Schrauben von außen durch die Haut in den betreffenden Knochen eingebracht. Außerhalb des Körpers werden diese dann über ein Haltesystem miteinander verbunden.
