OPS-Code 5-79a.86:

Repositioning of fracture and luxation: Closed repositioning of a joint luxation with osteosynthesis: By combinations of material: Distal radioulnar joint

The joint between your ulna and radius was realigned and stabilized at your wrist using devices.

At the wrist, the forearm bones, the ulna and radius, articulate with several bones of the hand. The ulna and radius are each connected to the hand via their own joint. There is also another joint between the ends of the ulna and the radius.

The bones of the joint between your ulna and your radius were first returned to their correct position. The joint between your ulna and your radius was then stabilized using special devices.

To stabilize bones or parts of bones, various aids can be used. They can be made of metal or plastic, for example.
