Eines oder mehrere Ihrer Gelenke wurden eingerenkt und mit Hilfsmitteln stabilisiert.
Zunächst wurden die Knochen der betroffenen Gelenke wieder in die richtige Position gebracht. Danach wurden die Gelenke jeweils mit Nägeln oder Drähten innen im Knochen stabilisiert.
Die Nägel oder Drähte sollen das Gelenk von innen stabilisieren. Dazu werden sie in den Innenraum eines Knochens eingebracht.
