Operations on the spine: Additional information on spine operations: Dynamic stabilization

Parts of your spine have been surgically stabilized.

The spine is made up of the individual vertebrae. Between every 2 vertebrae there is a vertebral disc. Small movements are usually possible between the vertebrae.

Parts of your spine have been stabilized in such a way that certain movements between the vertebrae are still possible.

Additional indicator

If necessary, additional letters are appended to OPS codes to indicate which side of the body is affected.

  • L: Left
  • R: Right
  • B: Both sides
